Howe's Famous Peanut Brittle Recipe
1 cup light corn syrup
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup raw peanuts
1 teaspoon baking soda
Combine corn syrup, butter, sugar and salt and cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Add raw peanuts. Increase heat to high and stir constantly until peanuts become light brown. Remove from heat. Quickly stir in baking soda. Spread thinly on greased shallow pan. Let stand until cold and hard.

For the last several years I have ordered your extra large virginia raw peanuts and they are the best! My last order was delayed, but when I received them I found they were extremely clean and fresh. I make over 20 batches to give as Christmas gifts. In fact, my family and friends call to ask if I forgot to give them the peanut brittle. Your recipe is great too, but I don't add the salt. Perfect for peanut brittle
I ordered these peanuts to make microwave peanut brittle. I used to get my peanuts from the peanut shop in Williamsburg via catalog. They stopped selling raw peanuts. Different but in a good way
I never bought raw peanuts before. If I eat peanuts it is usually the Planters brand. Very salty and your typical peanut taste. It's hard to find unsalted peanuts. I tried these and it didn't have that strong initial peanut odor and taste. I had to get use to it but I can see a big difference in these raw peanuts over store bought peanuts. These are way better.
